Brokerage Accounts

  1. Select Transfers and Payments when logged in to your Schwab account. You can find this under the Accounts tab.
  2. Select Transfer an Account and type in the Firm Name in the search bar where your assets are currently held.
  3. Select the Type of account you are transferring and input the account number. Ensure that the proper Schwab account is selected under the Transfer Account To dropdown.
  4. Indicate whether this is a full account transfer or if you are transferring a specific dollar amount, or specific positions (please speak with your Financial Manager prior to transferring non-cash positions).
  5. Confirm Yes that the account holders on both accounts are the same (please let your Financial Manager know if that is not the case).
  6. Submit the transfer.
