Compound Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)

If you have any questions, please email concierge@withcompound.com

Donor-Advised Funds allow you to maximize the tax-deductibility of your donations and then invest your charitable dollars for tax-free growth. We partner with Schwab Charitable for our Donor-Advised Funds, which function similar to a Private Foundation without the administrative hassle and tax filing requirements.

Steps

  1. Work with us to open a Donor-Advised Fund with Schwab Charitable. The entire process typically takes 2-3 business days.
  2. (Optional) Set up a consultation with your Financial Manager to discuss gifting strategies and review which assets make the most sense to gift.
  3. Work with us to transfer appreciated securities or cash to your Donor-Advised Fund.
  4. Once the funds have settled in your DAF, begin investing or making gifts to the qualified charity of your choice.
